Made a few changes
[edit]Ive removed the unsourced trivial traditions section. as well as the notable players since there is already a hall of famers section. 69.157.53.186 (talk) 01:56, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
- The traditions section has reappeared since you deleted it. Rather than delete it again, I've improved the tone and made it more concise. I'm not convinced though that the pre-game celebration is notable and/or encyclopedic. --76.200.102.245 (talk) 17:56, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Olympic Participation
[edit]How about a section on Sharks' olympic participation, including 4 gold and a silver medalist in the 2010 winter games? -24.130.65.122 (talk) 23:04, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- Personally, I think this little bit of trivia is irrelevant to the Sharks overall history, but a mention should certainly be made at 2009–10 San Jose Sharks season. Resolute 23:43, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- Thats not the Sharks though, thats the respective countries they played for when they won the medals. -Xcuref1endx (talk) 23:10, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
Sharks' arenas
[edit]What's the history between San Jose Sharks and Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena, a.k.a Oracle Arena? There's no mention about any relations between this particular arena and the team in the article, but Template:San Jose Sharks has it listed. Any thoughts? – Sabbatino (talk) 08:36, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- I removed it, good catch. The Sharks went directly from the Cow Palace to their current arena. It is possible that they may have played a game or two in Oakland, but that would be trivial, and no more worthy of mention than any other one-off neutral site location for other teams. Resolute 18:29, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. Wanted to do it myself, but thought I'd ask first. – Sabbatino (talk) 14:49, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
Evander Kane
[edit]So yeah, I heard the news. Is he really injured, or has he just been on a far too soon bereavement leave this whole time? If it's the latter the roster table should be updated. dannymusiceditor oops 22:11, 14 March 2019 (UTC)
- Unless he is put on the IR officially we shouldn't change the table. But that being said probably not a big deal either way. -DJSasso (talk) 11:23, 15 March 2019 (UTC)
